With business owners having to deal with multiple deadlines, projects, and much more; it’s critically important to stay organized.
Thankfully, we have a whole variety of organizational tools at our disposal that can help us run our business smoothly and efficiently.
Down below is a list of some of my favorite tips & tools that I use to help keep my business organized that could do the same for you.
Master Time Management
One of the best ways you can stay organized is by keeping track of where your time goes each day.
I like using the project management tool, ClickUp. It’s a great tool to use for staying organized in a timely fashion, especially with how inexpensive it is as well.
It lets you create tasks for yourself and your team so everyone knows who’s doing what, as well as use a timer for each task so you can know how long each task takes to complete. Not only that, but ClickUp also allows you to create pages where you can hold or share documents; reminders for meetings or other items of importance; calendars, and even an inbox!
Create A Content Calendar
We all know that, if you want your business to be noticed, then you need to constantly create content for your social media platforms.
However, that can be really hard to do for business owners when we don’t have a lot of time to come up with new ideas for content. Especially if our time could be needed for more important things in our business.
That’s why I absolutely love content calendars! They give you the chance to plan out the what and when content should be posted for the whole month. Allowing you to have content scheduled and ready to go; saving you time and energy that could be better spent elsewhere.
In fact, I actually created a digital marketing calendar that has templates for annual/quarterly business planning, content creation, email marketing lineups, and more to help make strategizing for your business easy. All for only $47!
Do Some “Online” Spring Cleaning
Another great way of keeping organized is doing a little “spring cleaning” on your computer by
separating important documents, files, projects, and more into categorized folders. Making it easier for yourself, your team, and possibly your clients if needed, to find or share anything easily.
We actually use two tools, frame.io and notion, when it comes to keeping files organized.
Frame.io is really nice because you can directly upload any type of file you need at a much faster rate. It’s nice for my business because it also allows our clients to comment directly on projects so we know what critiques they may have in real-time.
Notion is a very flexible “all-in-one-workspace” tool. You can use it to take notes, create databases, write out a list of tasks, and much more. My business uses it as a space for clients to easily find links to other websites so they can view ads or other projects, share files with us, and more. Our clients can also directly message us in Notion about any possible questions or concerns they may have.
Being able to stay organized is one of the most important steps you can take towards achieving success for your business. These organizational tips and tools have helped my business be where it is today, and I hope that they can do the same for you.
